Nitrous oxide sedation is another way to ensure a more relaxed visit. With nitrous oxide, also called "laughing gas," you can feel more at ease during your appointment. This method of mild sedation is beneficial for people with dental anxiety, sensitive teeth, or sensitive gag reflexes. It also helps lengthy treatments go by in a flash.
